Hahn GSM

Few would be disappointed by the complexity and range of subtle flavors in this youngster. Pure, with vivid ripe berry, plum and raspberry, ending with crushed rock. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2018.

Since 1980 the Hahn family has cultivated their hillside vineyards in Monterey County. Today, Hahn Winery remains committed to crafting rich, supple wines which consistently over deliver on quality.

WINEMAKING NOTES: Inspired by the Rhone blends of Southern France, our GSM combines the character of each component into rich layers of flavors and textures. Bright, fruity Grenache grown in Arroyo Seco contributes raspberry, strawberry and cherry flavors, while Syrah from the Santa Lucia Highlands lends color, tannins and hints of blueberry and black pepper. A small amount of mourvèdre contributes richness to the mid-palate and lengthens the dry finish.

TASTING NOTES: Ruby purple in the glass, enticing fragrances of violets and blueberry come to the fore followed by notes of cardamom and cedar. The palate delivers layers of strawberry, red cherry and black pepper and cloves. A poised balance of acidity and tannins carry through to the smooth finish
